For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to be an artist and a scientist. When I was about to turn 40, I took my first throwing class and immediately fell in love with clay. The more I learned, the more I realized that working in clay combined art and science and I found myself right where I wanted to be.

My passion is for functional pots that are wheel-thrown and sometimes altered. I prefer using porcelain because it enhances the vibrancy and richness of the glazes. My intent is to create pots that are graceful, alive and generate a desire to touch every curve and ridge.
